Around 2:45pm on Monday, May 27th, the Marshalltown Police Department was dispatched to Iowa Ave. W and 6th Street for a 2-vehicle accident. Before arrival they learn that the crash is between a truck trailer and a motorcycle.
When officers and emergency personnel arrived, they found the motorcycle driver trapped beneath the trailer. The motorcycle driver was extricated and transported to Unity Point Health for medical care, there are no updates as of this morning.
This incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to reach out to the Marshalltown Police Department.
