There have been some big storms lately that have brought wind and flood damage to our community.  After storms, all damage has to be reported to the county in 48 hours.  Kim Elder is Marshall County Emergency Management Coordinator, and she tells listeners how they can report damage.

Send your reports to Elder or your city clerk within 48 hours of a storm passing.  Elder and her team also collect the report for public damage as well, like roadways or government buildings.

While Marshall County was part of the recent Declaration that Governor Reynolds made, Marshall County was not part of the Presidential Disaster Declaration from the storms at the end of April.
