Anyone that was affected by the storms last week, there is some support out there. M.I.C.A., or Mid-Iowa Community Action, has a couple programs available as Governor Reynolds declared a declaration for Marshall County. This opens up grant opportunities.
That is Abra Dougherty, Resource Development and Communications Coordinator with M.I.C.A., she says that grant has a household income limit of 200% of the poverty line. She next talks about how you can start this process.
Dougherty says that people can stop in any of their county offices, as they have a location in Marshall, Tama, Hardin, and Story County. Their website is micaonline.org and their Facebook page is called Mid-Iowa Community Action
