Bobcat Baseball has a new head coach this year, Colton Hanke, and the start has been a bit rough.  Coming into last nights double header the Bobcats were 1 – 7 on the season.  The Des Moines Lincoln Railsplitters came to Marshalltown and beat the Bobcats 8 – 3 and 6 – 1 in the two games.  The Bobcats are on the road tonight, they travel to take on Ballard.

Bobcat Softball also hosted the Des Moines Lincoln Railsplitters last night.  The girls allowed some early runs and could never catch up, they lost game 1 5 – 2 and game 2 10 – 1.  The Bobcats have a shot to right the ship tonight when they host Grinnell for a JV/Varsity doubleheader.  Varsity game is set to start at 7pm.  Pregame on KFJB-TV with Voice of the Bobcats Brandon Lewis and Dylan Does starts at 6:45 on KFJB-Tv’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
