With all the rain we got recently, it was a good idea to check in with Marshall County Engineer, Paul Geilenfeldt. Geilenfeldt joined the KFJB line yesterday morning to talk about the state of the County Roads.
Geilenfeldt said that there was water over the road in places he had never seen before. He also mentions Timber Creek south of Marshalltown had a record stage. He mentions there were 2 bridges that had water running overtop
Geilenfeldt says that the County has a consultant that will come out and review the bridges and any damage. They will do a full inspection to find any structural damage.
