Today is the first day of summer for the Marshalltown Community School District and many other schools in central Iowa.  With that, the Aquatic Center will be doing their staff orientation today to gear up for the start of summer.

That is Park and Recreation Director, Geoff Hubbard.  He says the pool will be open longer this summer because Marshalltown Schools will not go back until after Labor Day.  Hubbard then mentions the regular hours

People can purchase a summer pass for the pool at the Aquatic Center or at the Park and Recreation Office.
