Thursday 7th November 2024

Tomorrow is the primary election for the Marshall County Supervisor race.  There are 3 candidates all running on the Republican ticket, so a primary is held to narrow it down.  Nan Benson is the Marshall County Auditor Recorder, and her team has been monitoring the absentee ballots so far.

Benson says that all absentee ballots need to be turned in by 8pm tomorrow night.  Absentee ballots need to be taken to the Election Center or to the Auditor/Recorder office.  You cannot take them to your polling location.  There is 1 new polling location in Marshalltown, Ward 3.

The 3 Marshall County Supervisor Candidates are, Kevin Goodman, Ruth Lycke, and Bill Schendel.  I spoke with Ruth Lycke on Friday for CIT, Kevin Goodman will be on CIT today, and Bill Schendel is a guest for Open Forum this morning.  All conversations will be posted online at 1230kfjb.com after Central Iowa Today on June 3rd.
