The mid-summer heat may not be with us yet, but the sun can still warm up our cars quickly.  Marshall County Sheriff Joel Phillips, mentions that our pets could be in danger if we leave them in a hot car too long.

A lot of people will try to keep their cars parked in the shade or crack a window to help their car not heat up as much

Double check your vehicle and make sure that all of your pets are out of the car when running errands or once you arrive home.  Car can heat up quickly, especially if they’re in direct sunlight.
