Yesterday I sat down with Marshalltown Police Chief Michael Tupper and he gave an update on the ongoing murder investigation from June first. Tupper said that suspect, 18 year old Victor Delgadillo, is still being searched for.

If you have information on Delgadillo, Tupper asks that you contact the police department in whatever way you find comfortable, whether by phone, email, or other online messaging. Tupper also says that even if you give repeated information, that can be helpful in order to help in solving the case, so don’t assume someone else has already sent in the same information.

Tupper also says that he doesn’t believe the suspect is an imminent threat to the community, and he believes this incident was targeted and not randomly done, but that doesn’t mean the situation shouldn’t still be handled with extreme caution.
