The Marshall County Supervisors voted on Wednesday over the Veterans Assistance program. Supervisor chairman, Jaret Heil, says this program gives Veterans $2,000 to relocated to Marshall County.
He mentions that the Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce also has some programs that can assist people relocating to Marshalltown.
The Iowa Veterans Home is the 5th largest Vets home in the Nation. Recently, Iowa Commandant, Todd Jacobus, said that Marshall County is the Veterans Home in the state of Iowa.
