The two day, Red, White, and Blue Celebration has come to an end.  Wednesday night started out with the Classic Car Cruise-In event in the 13th Street District.  In total, there were 92 cars that parked to strut their stuff.  A free concert followed at West End Park by Damon Dotson.  Thursday morning then kicked off again in the 13th street district with a parade and picnic.  After a few little league baseball and softball games at the Iowa Veterans Home fields people then shifted to the 6th Street Softball complex.

Inflatables, games, food, music, 6th Street was rocking all night.  There was a brief bit of rain, but once that cleared off the fireworks lit up the sky.  People filled the area around Mega 10 Park to get a great view of the fireworks that were shot off in the new location.  This year’s celebration truly made Marshalltown the Red, White, and Blue capital of Iowa.
