On Sunday afternoon, the Marshalltown Fire Department was called to the area of Three Bridges Park in Marshall County.  The call was for a missing kayaker and may need assistance pulling them out of the water.  Once arrived on scene, the department determined there were 2 individuals who would need assistance.

A Polaris Ranger was able to get to one of the individuals who was in a wooded area north of the river.  The other individual was rescued off of the shore of the river.  Both patients were then delivered to Unity Point EMS for evaluation and 1 of the 2 were taken by ambulance from the scene.  The Marshalltown Fire Department was on scene for about 90 minutes
