‘From the Battlefront to the Home front’ is a program that will be put on by former KFJB personality, Jeff Stein. You may hear Stein each day on KFJB still as he does the Iowa Almanac. Stein is coming back to Marshalltown later this month to give a historical presentation at the Marshalltown Public Library.
Stein says they plan to bring vintage broadcast back to life, with a bit of context provided by Stein. He then shares how this project and presentation got started.
He says they were originally on what he describes as an LP record. Through technology, they were able to resurrect the audio. Come out to the Library on July 21st at 2pm to hear a historical presentation about radio and war.
