Marshall County Supervisor Chairman Jaret Heil spoke with us recently about the Local Option Sales Tax and why it’s important.

He says that the extra 1% would go back to Marshall County which would end up being a significant amount.

If it’s not passed, he says it would be money headed to Des Moines with the State of Iowa, and if not passed, Heil says they’d have to try and make up the money in another way.
