Marshall County Supervisors are working on a LOSST petition to renew the LOSST program in the County.  One common question to County employees is, “are my taxes going up?”

That is Marshall County Auditor/Recorder, Nan Benson.  The petition is just part of the process to get this renewal done.  She shares approximately the amount that the county collects through LOSST

This LOSST is for the unincorporated areas across Marshall County.  Benson says 50% of the money collected goes towards roads and bridges and 50% goes towards property tax relief.
