Marshall County Sheriff, Joel Phillips, joined the KFJB line on Friday to talk about an uptick in criminal activity this summer.  Phillips says vehicle Break-Ins, or people breaking into cars and stealing items, does increase in the summer months.

He says to make sure to lock your car at night and keep any valuables out of your car or out of sight.  He says there is one type of item that is being stolen this summer

Phillips says that people typically steal things that are easily sold online, like construction equipment or other high-priced items.
