The Iowa Speedway in Newton had a packed house for NASCAR in June and Indy Car in July. Eric Peterson, President of the Iowa Speedway and fan of fast moving cars, was thrilled with how both weekends went. He says having great musical acts exposed fans to racing, some for the first time. He mentions the schedule for the Saturday Indy Car Race weekend.
NASCAR held an event in Iowa at the Speedway for the first time in History in June. The house was packed and cars were flying around the track. Peterson says NASCAR enjoyed themselves while in Newton
Peterson says the work in the corners allowed for better grip and cars went faster than expected. Indy Cars would top out at 188 mph, which were the fastest cars on the Speedway this summer.
