The Marshalltown Police Department partnered with the Marshall County Sheriffs Office for National Night Out. Lieutenant Sadie Weekly says the Marshalltown Police Department wanted to be apart of this program to continue to build that bridge between the public and police officers.
National Night Out will take place August 6th at the Marshalltown Police Department. The event runs from 5 – 7pm, and as Lieutenant Weekly said, people can come and go as they please.
There will be a special guest in the dunk tank.
No word if Chief Tupper will brave the dunk tank! This is a free event for people to attend and learn more about who the police officers and sheriff deputies are that roam our community.
