Now that the fair is over, people are thinking of the fall and what is coming next. School is set to start soon, football will begin, and Power of the Purse is approaching. This event is a fundraiser for the Marshalltown Area United Way and it grew last year at a bigger venue at the Midnight Garden.
That is Marshalltown Area United Way Executive Director Kendra Sorenson who shares the event will take place October 10th. Michelle Roseburrough shares why this year is so special.
