School in Iowa can start August 23th, most schools will start then, Marshalltown Schools start September 3rd. Now is the time families will start to get back into that school routine, and many families should add the 9pm Routine. Police Chief Mike Tupper Explains what it is.
This idea is to deter criminals from acting. The easier you make it for criminals the more likely they will try to steal something. Chief Tupper suggest to pull any valuables out of your vehicle.
Check all of the doors to your home, make sure they are locked along with your vehicle. Close your garage door and close the house down before you head off to bed for the evening.
