Yesterday there was a crash between an ATV and a pickup truck that left a 17-year-old driver dead. Around 2:15 yesterday, the Marshall County Communication Center received a report of a head-on motor vehicle crash between an ATV and pickup truck near the 1100 mile of 320th St. just southwest of Rhodes. When authorities arrived, they found the teenage driver in the road unconscious, CPR and other life saving measures were immediately given. The teen was transported to the UnityPoint Hospital but eventually the teen passed away from injuries sustained. The Iowa State Patrol has been contacted for a technical crash investigation as this crash remains under investigation. The identity of the teen juvenile has not yet been released.
