Yesterday was the last day that the Marshalltown Family Aquatic Center was open for the season.  The Marshalltown Aquatic Center was the only pool in Central Iowa still open over the weekend.  The Aquatic Center only had to close 1 day due to low staff, that shows through attendance numbers the first 2 months.

That is Geoff Hubbard, Marshalltown Park and Recreation Director.  The pool was packed yesterday for the hot last day and staff began the shut down right at 6pm.

The pool will stay filled for a week as they work to get the chemicals out of the water so it can drain and not cause further damage.
