Last night for the Marshalltown City Council meeting there was a crossing from the parking lot on the northside of State Street to the City Council Chambers at 10 W. State St.  Heather Thomas, Public Works Director, gave an update at the meeting last night.

People can see the pavement moving along on State Street.  Citizens should be aware of construction before the next city council meeting.

The City of Marshalltown has a Facebook page that people can follow.  They also send out alerts, which anyone can sign up for at Marshalltown-ia.gov.  Alerts can be sent to your phone or email and can be customized for specific topics.
