Last week the Marshalltown Community School District held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Tornado Safe Team Room at Leonard Cole Field. This new facility will change how Friday nights look and feel for players, coaches, referees, and fans.
That is Marshalltown High School Athletic Director Ryan Isgrig. He said that the away team did not have there own space.
Marshalltown Fans, coaches, and players should have a sense of pride walking into Leonard Cole Field after all that has been done over the last 18 months. Previously opposing fans did not think highly of Marshalltown Facilities.
Isgrig says the new Tornado Team room should be fully operational by the Ottumwa game September 27th. Not everything is quite done to be fully operational for tomorrows game, but the Bobcats will be on the road weeks 3 and 4.
