Wednesday last week was another quarterly meeting for the Marshall County Food Insecurity Team.  Hy-Vee Director of Strategic Communications, Ivy Sprague, was in attendance to talk about what they do to give back. She first talks about their partnership with Feeding America.

Hy-Vee allows each store to find the best way to give back, as each community is unique.

Hy-Vee partners with the Emergency Food Box, Salvation Army, and YSS in Marshalltown through food rescue programs. Sprague gives statistics for all the stores in 2023 and their food rescue programs
