The Marshalltown Community Theatre is gearing up for Auditions for a children’s show, Elf Jr. The Community Theatre is looking for students ages 8 – 18 to audition, and those are coming up in a few weeks.
That is Vanessa Engel with the Community Theatre. She says that those who audition should come prepared to dance and sing a song. It can be something simple like Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. She says they are looking for 15 – 20 children to be in the show. But not everyone is meant for the stage spotlight.
Engel says her team wants to show the children there is much more to theatre than just those who act on stage. Auditions for Elf Jr. will be Tuesday, October 1st and Wednesday, October 2nd.
