Not everyone has a mind of a Boy Scout to, “Be Prepared” and that is why we have Preparedness Month.  September is Preparedness Month and it is a great reminder to be prepared for anything.

That is Marshall County Emergency Management Coordinator, Kim Elder.  The better you are prepared the better you can preform when an emergency or stressful situations happens.

Elder echoes what Interim Fire Chief Christopher Cross said earlier this week, have a meeting location for your family in case of an emergency.  This allows accountability between family members and can help expedite the process when authorities arrive.
