Friday afternoon, Zach Tomesch sat down with Jessica O’Riley, tourism communication manager, for Central Iowa Today. With fall just around the corner, there are plenty of fall activities around the state at various farms and orchards to get out and about to do some apple and pumpkin picking. Starting off with a farm in eastern Iowa.

They’ve got mini golf, homemade donuts, and a pumpkin blaster show. They’ve also got some events planned for those who like the spooky Halloween season.

As far as a little more central Iowa, there’s a farm in Cambridge that folks can head over to.

There are plenty other opportunities to get out and about this fall and enjoy the weather with apples, pumpkins, colorful leaves, and corn mazes, so if you’re looking for something to do for a weekend, there’s much to do all over the state of Iowa.
