Monday, the Marshalltown City Council voted to approve the contract between the city and Construct for $1.3 million project at Riverview Park.  Geoff Hubbard, Marshalltown Park and Recreation Director, shares that the original plan had updates to the lagoon too.

Hubbard shares that with the savings on the lagoon, that opens up further money in the contingency to add more features.

Hubbard will be working with Bolton and Mink to come up with more features and structures to add.  He believes Construct can start still this fall as most of it is concrete work to start.
