One of the many projects the Park and Recreation team is working on is the 6th Street Bridge that will start the Bike Trail. Geoff Hubbard, Park and Recreation Director, spoke about the plans at the City Council meeting on Monday.
Hubbard says they are working with Snyder and Associates to design the bridge
He says the plan is to use some of the same features along the trail and bridge. Similar lighting, benches, bike racks, and more.
The City approved spending an initial $25,000 for the design of the bridge, those designs will go out to bid to find a contractor and construction should start next year.
