LIHEAP, or Low-Income Heat Energy Assistance Program, enrollment is about to start. Jamie Adkins, Resource Development and Communications Director with M.I.C.A., tells KFJB listeners the purpose behind this program.
Adkins says that with the change in their offices, everyone will need to go to their 18th Ave. location to apply for LIHEAP. October 1st opens the first portion of applications.
Their website is micaonline.org, people can head there to find the application before stopping in. There is some income guidelines to be eligible for LIHEAP
