Today the Marshalltown Bobcat girls swim team will finish their regular season duals when they travel to Des Moines East tonight. The girls lost to Des Moines Lincoln last week at home, the meet ran just over 1 hour.
That’s Head Coach Angie Nelson, who says at home there is a bit of a break for diving, but at East tonight, there is no diving. Diving is a bright spot for the Bobcats as last season Abby Tollefson won the state competition, but Kate Hauser was also a qualifier. There is a large diving competition at the YMCA on October 19th.
It will be a long few weeks after the dual tonight for the girls as the regional competition wont happen until November 7th for swimming and November 9th for diving.
