According to the Marshalltown City Council Agenda, Chris Jones was selected as the next Chief of Police for the City of Marshalltown.  The City Council will vote to approve this recommendation at the meeting on Monday in the City Council Chambers.  Current Chief of Police Mike Tupper announced he will be retiring at the end of January, this allows for a few months to begin the transition.
