The Friends of Marshall County Conservation is a group of people who love the outdoors and outdoor recreation. They help Conservation Director, Emily Herring and her team with different items throughout the year from fundraising to volunteering. Herring says this group is vital to her and her team.
When the hat is passed around at the end of the night at the Live and Local Concerts, the money collected goes to the Friends of Marshall County Conservation. One project they have fundraised for is the playground at Greencastle.
Anyone can become a member of the Friends of Marshall County Conservation. To learn more or to become a member people need to contact Director Herring by calling Grimes Farm or stopping out there.
