FEH Design was at the last Marshalltown School Board Meeting discussing the CTE project at the high school. Kim Bellman with FEH, brought 2 change orders with her to discuss.

During construction they found some underground conduits that are corroded. The more floor they cut out, the more problems they found. During the project the entire West End was rewired overhead. The total cost for this change order is $170,008.15.

The 2nd change order Bellman brought was Change Order #8, which has 8 COR’s. She explains what some of those are.

This project has been way under budget, nearly $2.2 million. While the change orders will exceed the contingency, overall, the project stayed under the projected budget.
