Tuesday, Marshalltown Police ended up in pursuit of a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Aaron Parrish Scalabrini, after they were dispatched to Wal-Mart for an intoxicated man. Once officers arrived on scene, they made contact with Scalabrini in his car. Scalabrini then took off in his car, starting the vehicle pursuit.

The pursuit ended in 2600 block of S Center Street when Scalabrini began driving unpredictably and hit multiple police cars. Scalabrini was taken into custody, no one was injured in this situation other than 2 police vehicles. Scalabrini was charged with eluding, OWI, and more.
