The Iowa Cattle Industry Convention is coming up on December 12th and 13th at the Gateway Hotel in Ames, which is a new locations this year. This event typically runs each year in December and producers have educational opportunities, discuss policies, learn about different resources and more.
That is Morgan Pothoven, who is the Events and Communications Coordinator with the Iowa Cattleman’s Association. She says a representative of the US Meat and Export Federation talking about beef exports.
Pothoven says this event is open to everyone, you do not need to be a member of their organization to attend. Admission costs $100 for members or $125 for non-members, 3 meals are included with admission.
