With a 3 – 0 vote, the Marshall County Supervisors are using $24,000 in uncommitted Economic Development funds to support a park in Le Grand. Breanna and Tyler Sawyer attended the Marshall County Supervisor meeting on Wednesday last week to talk about a park project in Le Grand. They are part of a committee working to bring updates to the park in Le Grand.

The total cost of the project is estimated at $240,000, but the park would include a pickleball court and playground equipment accessible for all individuals of all ages. This park would replace the current park on the northside of Le Grand. The city has committed $165,000 of this project, the county added another $24,000 and they are looking at Grants and private donations for the rest.
