Marshall County residents voted on LOST or Local Option Sales Tax in the November Election. Jarret Heil is a Marshall County Supervisor and the former County Treasurer. Heil says that this 1% will be collected no matter what, the voters did not pass this measure in November and he explains what will happen with that money.

To keep the dollars in Marshall County, voters will need to approve the LOST measure. The Supervisors have collected the necessary signatures to bring this measure back in March.
