Announced on Monday night at the Marshalltown School Board meeting, the Student Senate is working to open a Bobcat Boutique. They have partnered with the Arts and Culture Alliance, who has “elevate youth” as part of their master plan.

That is Amber Danielson, Executive Director for the Arts and Culture Alliance. She shares that this is primarily student led and they plan to open after the first of the year. Monday the students got a few questions of logistics from the School Board and Danielson says that learning will be part of the process.

Danielson says she has a few old Homecoming dresses in the back of her closet she can donate and is calling on the community to dig through their closets as well. If you want to donate clothes, you can reach out to Danielson at the Arts and Culture Alliance.
