The Marshall County Supervisors needed to obligate some ARPA funds by December 31st so earlier this week they decided to put those towards the Sheriff’s Office updates. Jarret Heil, Supervisor Chairman, says they had a meeting on Christmas Eve to vote.

Heil says it is back to the drawing board for the renovations as all the bids came in way over budget.

Heil thinks it was all the complexities that the Sheriffs Office has, like security, that increased the bids.
