Yesterday, Marshall County Sheriff Joel Phillips called into the studio to encourage folks to drive safely tonight for New Years. They’ve got a new slogan for not drinking and driving this year.

Phillips says this is a very important time of the year to be driving safely with so many people traveling for the holidays.

He encourages everyone to plan for a sober driver, whether that means having a designated driver, using some form of ride sharing service, or avoiding the consumption of alcohol altogether. And remember, if you feel different, you drive different.
