October 1st the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown put a challenge out to the public of raising $100,000 by the end of 2024. If the public stepped up, the Executive Director Austin Gillis would eat dog food live on Facebook. Yesterday, Gillis went live on Facebook.
That reactions says it all, the ARL of Marshalltown did it, they raised $102,000 since October 1st. Gillis had a can of Hillsides Beef and Vegetables. He first took a bite of a carrot

If there is one thing to remember in 2025, leave eating dog food to the professionals at the ARL.
