Thursday we were joined by Marshalltown Police Chief Mike Tupper for Central Iowa Today and he gave us a little insight into the recent card skimming case that’s been open since just before Christmas.
Tupper then dove into one of the major improvements that have been made in catching criminals, including those that have been arrested in this recent case.
Tupper says that everyone should continue to monitor their bank accounts and that criminals won’t necessarily take out large sums of money right away, but rather in small increments in hopes to make it less detectable. Anyone with any more information or anyone who has been victimized by this crime is asked to please contact the Marshalltown Police Department at 641-754-5725
