The Marshalltown Police Department made an arrest this week in connection to multiple burglaries last year. Matthew Moore, age 42 of Marshalltown, was arrested on Thursday for Theft in the 2nd Degree, Burglary in the 3rd degree, and more.
Back on November 4th, Marshalltown Police were called to 50 Lafrentz Lane for an alarm call. Officers found video surveillance of the suspect. November 25th, The Marshalltown Police Department responded to an alarm call at 1116 E Nevada St. and video surveillance obtained showed the same suspect form the burglary on November 4th and matching vehicle. November 29th there was an attempted burglary at 19 W Main St. and the Marshalltown Police Department says the reporting party matched the vehicle description from the previous two incidents. January 7th, the Marshalltown Police Department responded to 107 E Meadow Ln for a burglary.
After an investigation, the Marshalltown Police Department along with other agencies executed a search warrant and arrested Matthew Moore. Moore also has outstanding warrants in Tama County, he is being held in the Tama County Jail.
