Friday was the final day that Marshalltown Police Chief, Mike Tupper, clocked in as Police Chief. Chief Tupper spent over 13 years in Marshalltown as the Police Chief, and over 30 years in law enforcement in Iowa. Many people were here, some from the DCI, State Officials, and of course many many local individuals. One of the speakers was Police Captain, Kiel Stevenson who gave the Chief a gift of different badges.
Captain Stevenson then speaks about the time he spent with Chief Tupper.
Another person who has spent a ton of time with Chief Tupper, is the new Police Chief, Christopher Jones.
Jones then gives Chief Tupper an award
This award is from the Department, where the city gave him a Distinguished Service Award at the last City Council meeting. Thank you, Chief Tupper, we hope you enjoy retirement.
