Monday was the first day for Marshalltown’s new Park and Recreation Director, Jeff Evenson. Evenson’s most recent stop in his career was working for the Park and Recreation board for the City of Minneapolis.

Evenson had worked for a small town in their Park and Recreation department and says coming to Marshalltown brings him back to those days.

He goes on to talk about Marshalltown’s Parks Master Plan

Evenson has been making the rounds the last few days with Jenni Hart, Recreation Supervisor, trying to learn about the Park and Recreation World in Marshalltown.
