Yesterday many people were gathered at Mitchell Family Funeral Home to celebrate and remember the life of Mark Osmundson. Osmundson was the owner of KDAO Radio Station in Marshalltown, and also a pillar in the community.

That is owner of KFJB/KXIA, Todd Steinkamp, who raves about Osmundson’s knowledge of broadcasting and radio.

Steinkamp thinks back to a moment when Osmundson made sure his competitor was able to broadcast.

Mark leaves his wife, Emily, and two children, Eric and Allison. A memorial fund was established to support community improvements.
