The Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown recently had to rescue two animals who were malnourished and living in a car with their owner. Executive Director, Austin Gillis, talks about what happened

The snake is a small Python that is illegal to own in the state of Iowa. With the connections in animal welfare, Gillis and his team were able to get the snake checked out.

Gillis says it will be a challenge to find the proper home for the snake

For the time being Nagini will be at the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown. The courts ruled that the woman would not be able to reclaim her dog under any circumstance.
