Cleaning up the snow so people can get around town is no simple task. This is a multi-day operation from early mornings to late nights. Heather Thomas, Marshalltown Public Works Director, shares how the snow is removed from the roads so we can get around town.

Thomas says they have two or three plows hitting each residential zone. But the focus does not 100% shift to residential

The final thing they will tackle is the residential alleys. The trucks were out early this morning clearing the snow in the middle of main street.
